Egyptian frequently uses abbreviations, as with the two forms of

The word for "of" is most often written simply

, although after a feminine noun it may be written

Egyptian doesn't usually use a word for "and." The two words are simply put next to each other, as in the third sentence above, "Osiris (and) Isis."
Egyptian doesn't put any break or punctuation between sentences. The last line above contains two sentences.
Egyptian may not express "his" or "my." In the last two sentences, it is understood that we are talking about "(his) father," and "(his) mother."
