About Stephen Fryer

I live in Lund, BC in a small house on five acres of land, mostly forest, but with half an acre of garden / orchard / lawn. I share this with my wife, Judy Harcus, teenage son, Jamin, our dog, Frodo, and a variety of small furred, featherd, or scaled people.

I have been working with computers for over a decade as technician, programmer and teacher. I currently teach many of the community education computer courses for Malaspina University College Powell River Campus. I also have a computer consulting business, Lund Computer Services.

Apart from my (I assume) obvious interest in computers, my interests include music (I play classical guitar, piano, harpsichord, and recorder with varying degrees of skill), Egyptology (especially the Ancient Egyptian language), gardening (when I have time), reading (science fiction and fantasy - when I don't need to be reading technical stuff), and generally being lazy.
